Training programs at the Camp are future-oriented and anything but boring. Numerous activities give you the opportunity to expand your knowledge in many directions, learn new things together, exchange ideas, and make new contacts.

Trainee orientation week - with Camp Rally and opportunities to get to know each other
During this week, you will learn important information about everyday life at the camp. Where can I find what, how does employee catering work, where are the first aid kits located… From getting to know the room categories to safety instructions, lots of informative, organizational, and general topics are covered during the first week.
TALENT-EXCHANGE - an exciting week at one of our partner hotels
During the Talent Exchange, our trainees visit partner hotels all over Germany and experience different working methods and processes. A trainee from the respective hotel acts as your mentor and supports you. After one week, the exchange is reversed, and the other trainee gets to learn the processes in our hotel.
ELO-TRAINEE-CAMP - learning together and exchanging idead with other trainees
The ELO Trainee Camp is a meeting point for trainees of the hotel community “Exzellente Lernorte” (ELO). You travel for two days to one of the ELO hotels across Germany. There, general knowledge is imparted, specific procedures in conference hotels are explained, and the sense of community among participants is deliberately strengthened. Interactive workshops as well as exchanging experiences with each other are part of the program.
TRAINEE-EXCURSION - out of the work routine, into the fun
The annual trainee excursion is a mix of infotainment and enjoyment. Together, you’ll be on the move. For example, you’ll learn about our coffee and tea supplier, visit a local attraction, dine out together, and go to a leisure activity…
COOK-TRAINEES AT INTERNORGA
A highlight in spring – visiting this international trade fair for gastronomy and hospitality in Hamburg. All the latest trends and innovations in our industry can be found and experienced here.
TRAINEES TAKE OVER THE GASTHAUS - showing what they've already learned
Once a year, our trainees take over the restaurant. Together, they create the menu, plan, cook, decorate, serve, and showcase their skills. On this evening, guests are family members, friends, and staff. It’s a great opportunity to introduce the training profession to family and friends.

azubi:web - the versatile app
The azubi:web app offers great learning tools, supports you with exam preparation, and provides a digital training record. You can also test your knowledge and challenge your colleagues to a quiz duel.
Trainee representative - your personal contact person
The Trainee representative is your go-to person for anything that’s on your mind. You can also connect with others in the WhatsApp group and support each other along the way
For your studies
We cover your tuition fees and your semester train ticket. You’ll also receive a small allowance.
