Heath Hiking-Tours
Discover the beautiful landscape while participating in a guided hiking tour through the Lueneburger Heath. For sure you will meet the shepherd and his "Heidschnucken", which is a special moorland sheep breed living in the heath.
Heidschnuckenweg- Certified hiking path through the heath
Furhtermore, we highly recommend you to walk along the Heidschnuckenweg. The path has a lenght of approximately 223 km and crosses stunning landscapes, the nicest sights, various heath areas and idyllic villages.
Bonfire
A cosy end of the day - Our bonfire place nearby the lobby is most suitable for this purpose.
Heath Bowling (for groups of 5+ people)
Road Bowling is a typical sport in the North of Germany. Here in the Camp it is played on a course over the heathland. Be active outdoors, have fun and learn more about nature and culture in the Lueneburger Heath.
Bike-Rental
You want to explore the beautiful environment by bike? Visit our reception and rent a bike (also for large groups on request).
Horse carriage tours through the heathland
Discover the beautiful heath landscape during a romantic horse carriage tour starting directly at the hotel. To make the tour even more special, we will prepare a picknick basket for you.
Nordic Walking
Start signposted Nordic Walking Tours through the heath directly from the hotel. Of course you can borrow necessary equipment at our reception.
High-Rope Course
On a total of 20 metres hight, you have the possibility to climb on 5 different levels. Spectators can relax in a sun lounger on the top view platform.
Swimming halls nearby
Close to the camp there are different swimming halls which suit every age and need. For those who prefer relaxation and silence, we recommend the "Soltau Therme". Those, who want to have more action, can visit the "Heidjers Wohl- und Hallenbad" in Schneverdingen". Besides a 25m swimming pool it has a huge slide, a diving plattform and a whirlpool.
