Wow, what a journey! We’re celebrating our anniversary and looking back on 25 eventful and successful years.
In 1999, HOTELCAMP REINSEHLEN began operating as a hotel in cooperation with the North German Academy for Nature Conservation, starting with 27 rooms and two event halls. The concept proved to be a success, and in a short time, Camp Reinsehlen established itself as an ideal retreat for vacationers and conference guests alike. As a result, the number of rooms and event spaces was gradually expanded to today’s 91 rooms and 13 event venues.
Donations for the Pietzmoor in Schneverdingen
To mark our anniversary, we want to give something back to nature. In cooperation with the Naturschutzpark Association, we have launched a donation campaign for the nearby Pietzmoor. Together with our guests, we are committed to the restoration and protection of this unique moorland. As part of our 25th anniversary, HOTELCAMP REINSEHLEN is collecting and donating funds through various initiatives. You can learn more about the Pietzmoor here.

OUR ANNIVERSARY CAMPAIGNS
Book a conference and donate trees
For every conference booking with a value of €3,000 or more between June and August, we will donate 25 trees – one for each year of HOTELCAMP REINSEHLEN.
With this initiative, we actively support reforestation and the preservation of the unique landscape of the Lüneburg Heath. In cooperation with the Naturschutzpark Association, the trees will be planted in the region to help improve climate protection, promote biodiversity, and stabilize the ecological balance.
The CAMP-team gets involved!
Under the guidance of the Naturschutzpark Association (VNP), the team at HOTELCAMP REINSEHLEN rolled up their sleeves to help repair and extend a dam in the Pietzmoor.
The rewetting and restoration of the Pietzmoor into a raised bog not only creates new habitats for many protected plant and animal species but also helps combat climate change by storing CO₂.
It was a fantastic team effort filled with fun, teamwork, and fascinating insights.
